In this page we will provide details of the proposed structure and open tasks for the website reorganisation, together with the gaps identified in the wiki pages, which can feed that as well. This is being done as part of the showcase 49 - Website content updates, being dealt with in sprint 4 (May 2012).
h2. Proposed Website structure
I am thinking of several tabs that provide quick access to each of the blocks that are presented below. A common diagram style should be used (Graffle, PPT, etc.).
* Landing page / Home. Structured according to four main blocks (plus a column with latest news, obtained directly from the news page, and a calendar, connected to the Wf4Ever Google Calendar):
** Wf4Ever in a nutshell - avoid "in a nutshell" (100 words) --> {color:#ff0000}first paragraph of {color}{color:#ff0000}[http://www.wf4ever-project.org/about]{color}
** Wf4Ever for Astronomers and Biologists \--> {color:#ff0000}links to the corresponding descriptions in the corresponding pages + some text to copy and paste{color}
** Wf4Ever for developers --> {color:#ff0000}links to the corresponding descriptions in the corresponding pages + some text to copy and paste{color}
** {color:#ff0000}Add something for citizens when available (Lourdes){color}
** {color:#ff0000}Research agenda of Wf4Ever{color}
** Project details (to be substituted in the future by Wf4Ever and Digital Libraries) --> {color:#ff0000}links to the corresponding descriptions in the corresponding pages{color}
** {color:#ff0000}Other projects: testimonials{color}
** {color:#ff0000}Keep calendar and small set of news{color}
** {color:#ff0000}How do I cite the project?{color}
* Wf4Ever for Astronomers and Biologists (page with a menu on the left and a central part for the main description)
** Overview --> text from [What is an RO?|docs:What is an RO?]{color:#ff0000} (I prefer the long version here, which is also publicly available at{color} {color:#ff0000}[http://www.wf4ever-project.org/software]{color}{color:#ff0000}){color}
** {color:#ff0000}A day in the life of a scientist (Lourdes){color}
** RO-enabled myExperiment --> {color:#99cc00}MISSING (Requested by e-mail, and should complement the information at{color} {color:#99cc00}[Showcase 48 - A first round-trip myExperiment integration|docs:Showcase 48 - A first round-trip myExperiment integration]{color}{color:#99cc00}, which is too technical){color}
